New illustrated postcards

Hello! I've been up to my tonsils pulling files together for my new website...due to be up and live next week. All very exciting! These are some new images I've been working on in the last week. They combine pen & ink illustrations with layers of coloured textures from photos and other fragments of illustrations. They will be available as a set of postcards on my Etsy shop soon. xx Yvonne

New items in my Etsy shop!

Ok so I have been off the radar for a wee while. I have been busy with college projects and creating pen & indian ink illustrations for a book for a charity in Africa. Its taking far longer than anticipated, but pushing nearing publication now. I will feature it here when that happens! I have also added some of my cards to my Etsy shop. They are mostly images rendered in indian ink and a couple of vibrant vector illustrated water lilies. I will have new designs soon and reprints of the very popular 'Piggy' and 'Pigs that Fly' (In their hot air balloon).

RDS Craft Fair this weekend..my favourite picks..therapyaroma

As a woman whose skin reacts to soap and chemical perfumes, I am always looking out for natural bath products. I was delighted today, on discovering 'Therapy aroma'...a clever twist of wording! Their products are 100% natural, handmade and contain essential oils. The smells are decadent and seduce the senses rather than attacking the sinuses! I purchased a dinky little soap, charmingly packaged it has to be said for a rather reasonable €4. Check out their website (though the photos don't do the products justice!) www.therapyaroma.com

Unusual and exquisite pieces by sisters Lyndsey and Elaine. I was blown away by their framed pieces and their jewellery. While they don't have an on-line shop you can contact them to arrange purchasing. www.donegalcraftvillage.com

New team Treasury!!! Please click & Comment!

Well November whizzed by and despite my best efforts I couldn't take the time of work to schedule a team meeting!

So what do we do? Well I thought it might be an idea to take advantage of etsy's chat rooms tomorrow evening from 7pm. I realise everybody has work commitments, craft fairs to prepare for, never mind all the other preparations for Christmas so the chat room might just come in handy this December. You can stitch, sew, knit, paint, just do your thing and have a bit of craic while you're at it!

All members and followers of the blog are welcome - which is great since all our meetings have taken place in Dublin thus far and not everybody could make it. It would be a handy way to get to know each other, ask questions and exchange ideas. I hope you can make it!

Best Wishes,

Tanya ♥
